Patagonia Womens Powder Jacket Maraschino (Autumn 2012)

We make the Powder Bowl Jacket for the season-long chase of the perfect ride. It's our most versatile hard shell for going anywhere, in any condition. Made with GORE-TEX® technology, the 2-layer shell features a GORE-TEX® membrane bonded to a durable polyester fabric for absolute waterproof/breathable protection. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish increases wet-weather performance and keeps the shell dry. The brushed polyester mesh lining wicks moisture, and pit zips quickly release heat. The two-way-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood has a laminated visor for optimal visibility; our Touch Point System™ embeds cord locks in the hood and hem for easy adjustability and to eliminate loose ends. Other details include coated, watertight Slim Zip zippers, a fully featured powder skirt (with webbing loops that connect to any Patagonia® snow pants) and a pleated cuff gusset.

The 2-layer construction used for the GORE-TEX® Performance Shell is designed for a wide range of outdoor activities. A specific GORE-TEX membrane is bonded to the outer material and protected on the inside by a separate lining. The separate lining ensures better wearing comfort and versatility.
